Mitch’s Downtown Opens, Egg Hunt Returns

Mitch’s Downtown Opens, Egg Hunt Returns
Museum moves forward, water safety ramps up, and a weekend that fills quickly.

This week brings a noticeable shift in pace around town.

The Museum’s move begins to reshape downtown, water safety efforts ramp up ahead of swim season, and Mitch’s Downtown opens at Cornerstone Plaza.

With the Egg Hunt returning this weekend, it is one of those weeks where the city starts to feel busier.

Spacibo Therapeutic Massage: Near-Perfect Sentiment, Pain Relief Drives Loyalty

Reviews consistently highlight skilled, customized massage work that delivers meaningful pain relief, with many clients returning regularly.

The strongest feedback centers on targeted therapeutic outcomes rather than a standard spa experience.

We break down what keeps clients coming back and what seems to drive such unusually strong loyalty.

What is SENTY?
Most ratings reflect years of mixed customer feedback. SENTY™ analyzes patterns in recent customer reviews to measure current sentiment. Scores are data-driven and independent of advertising.

(Each week's SENTY Report highlights a local business reviewed in-depth on our Coral Springs Business Guide.)

A Simple Release for a Busy Weekend

Some weekends move quickly. Standing, walking, keeping up with everything around you. It adds up more than you notice.

Try this once you get home. Sit back, roll your shoulders slowly in both directions, then take one long breath before moving again. Small resets help your body settle after a full day.

The goal is not recovery. Just a brief return to neutral.

Signs of progress and possibility around Coral Springs

Coral Springs is relocating its Museum of Art to a new downtown site at University Drive and Sample Road, placing it at the center of a growing mix of shops and public spaces.

If you’ve spent time near University and Sample, you’ve likely seen how that area is starting to come together. The $3.4 million project places the museum directly within that evolving core.

Instead of requiring a dedicated visit, the museum will become part of places people already pass through — before dinner, after errands, or during an evening out.

The current building will transition into an event venue, creating a new source of revenue for the city.

By the time a downtown feels active, moves like this have usually been setting the stage for a while.

As South Florida’s swimming season approaches, Coral Springs is placing renewed focus on water safety through education, training, and access.

A community event at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex will feature hands-on demonstrations of CPR and water rescue techniques, along with information on Water SMART Broward, which provides swim lesson vouchers for children.

The effort comes as Florida continues to lead the nation in child drownings, with 119 reported cases in 2025.

If you have children or grandchildren around pools, it’s easy to assume the risk is somewhere else. But many incidents happen close to home, which is why programs like this focus on skills and access before summer begins.

If You Only Do One Thing This Week...

Make It: The Coral Springs Egg Hunt

Bright baskets, scattered eggs, and families fanning out across the grass mark one of Coral Springs’ familiar spring traditions as the city’s Egg Hunt returns.

When: Saturday, March 28 (9am - 12pm)
Where: Sportsplex Park (Baseball Outfield)
More Info

Children move quickly once the hunt begins, with different age groups rotating through designated areas. The pace is fast, and the moment doesn’t last long.

Insider note: Arriving early helps with parking and positioning before each age group starts.

New Spot: Mitch’s Downtown

Griddles hum and bagels stack high as Mitch’s Downtown brings a fast-paced New York-style deli feel to Cornerstone Plaza.

When: Open daily (breakfast and lunch)
Where: Cornerstone Plaza, Coral Springs
Menu

Opened just a few days ago, the father-and-son concept leans into classic deli staples, fresh bagels, piled-high sandwiches, and a steady rhythm behind the counter. Early traffic suggests the neighborhood is already testing it as a go-to morning or midday stop.

Insider note: Expect the busiest stretch late morning as breakfast blends into lunch.
