What is SENTY?
(Each week's SENTY Report highlights a local business reviewed in-depth on our Coral Springs Business Guide.) |
A Small Posture Adjustment |
Most people notice their posture only when something starts to ache. The fix is rarely dramatic. Often it begins with a small adjustment.
Try this once today: sit with both feet flat, lengthen your spine slightly, and take one slow breath before returning to work. That tiny pause helps your body remember what upright feels like.
Small corrections repeated quietly tend to last. |
Signs of progress and possibility around Coral Springs |
A $21 million renovation at Coral Springs Middle School has culminated in the unveiling of a fully redesigned media center — one that looks more like a digital lab than a traditional library.
The overhaul removed over 4,000 outdated books, added 31 new laptops, and introduced interactive learning displays to support STEM and the school’s Cambridge Academy program, now entering its third year.
While much of the campus upgrade focused on infrastructure like HVAC and roofing, the media center represents the most visible academic shift.
If you’re considering Cambridge or tracking how local schools are evolving, this transformation conveys where middle school learning is headed. Read More... |
Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs has reached a 91% college and career readiness rate, according to new Florida Department of Education data.
The figure marks a dramatic improvement over the past several years.
In the 2020–21 school year, the school reported a readiness rate of 55%.
Today, more than nine out of ten students graduate having completed at least one college level course or career program.
The metric includes Advanced Placement classes, dual enrollment college courses, and industry certification programs.
If you have a student heading into high school, these programs often start earlier than many families expect. Read More... |
If You Only Do One Thing This Week... |
Make it: Museum Family Day |
Paint splatters, sketchbooks, and curious young artists take over the Coral Springs Museum of Art during this hands-on afternoon celebrating Youth Art Month.
Art stations, face painting, story time, and a gallery scavenger hunt keep families moving through the exhibits.
When: Saturday, March 14 (12–4 pm)
An easy way to introduce kids to the museum without committing to a full program. |
New Spot: The Knife Argentine Steakhouse |
The scent of wood-grilled meats now drifts through Coral Square as The Knife brings its Argentine steakhouse concept to Coral Springs.
Traditional parrilla cooking anchors the menu, with grilled meats, chimichurri, and shareable portions drawing early curiosity.
When: Open daily
|
Insider Heads-Up: Hundreds of Original Art Pieces for $25 |
Hundreds of small artworks currently cover the walls at the Coral Springs Museum of Art — and each piece will sell for just $25.
Artists are donating 6-by-6-inch works in a wide range of mediums as part of the museum’s “Empty Walls” fundraiser. The pieces will be displayed throughout the gallery before the public sale clears the walls again.
When: Empty Walls Fundraiser event March 21
These small works often sell quickly once the doors open, so early arrivals tend to have the best selection. |
Insider Advantages Taking Shape |
We’re continuing to shape a few reader-only advantages for Coral Springs Insider, including the Coffee Rituals mini-book we gave away last week.
From time to time, attentive readers will notice more small extras and useful surprises tucked into the newsletter.
Nothing flashy. Just thoughtful benefits quietly building over time. |
I like when an issue reflects progress in places that shape daily life, especially schools and community spaces.
Those are the kinds of updates that quietly influence the years ahead.
